Availability

Ermona has not launched yet.

Our first production run is being made now and will be sold on Amazon.ca and Amazon.com. There is nothing to buy on this website, and we do not take orders here.

If you want to know the day the listings open, email us and we will write back once. We will not add you to anything else.

Warranty

One year, from the date you bought it.

Ermona products are covered for one year against defects in materials and workmanship. If a product fails in normal use inside that year, we will replace it or refund it.

The warranty does not cover damage from dropping, from submerging a product that is only splash rated, from using a charger that is not rated for the product, or from ordinary wear such as scratches on the body.

To make a claim, email info@ermona.com with your order number and a photograph or short video of the problem. If you bought through Amazon, their own returns window applies alongside this warranty and is usually the fastest route.

Care

Cleaning and charging

The espresso maker is splash resistant, not submersible. The brewing assembly detaches and can be rinsed. The main body holds the battery and pump: wipe it, keep the port plug closed, and never put it under water.

Charge over USB-C with a standard 5 V source. Do not leave a product charging unattended for days, and do not charge a product that has been dropped or that looks swollen or deformed.

The hand grinder comes apart into the burr, the handle and the glass jar. Rinse the jar, brush the burr dry, and let it dry fully before reassembling.

Batteries and transport

What is in the products, and how it flies

Three of our products contain a lithium-ion cell. All of them are far below the 20 Wh per-cell threshold that triggers the restrictive shipping rules, and all are classified as lithium-ion batteries contained in equipment.

Espresso maker18650 cell, 3.7 V, 6.66 Wh. UN 3481, PI 967 Section II by air.
Electric grinder18650 cell, 3.7 V, 6.66 Wh. UN 3481, PI 967 Section II by air.
Milk frother14500 cell, 3.7 V, 1.85 Wh. UN 3481, PI 967 Section II by air.
Hand grinderNo battery. Entirely manual.

Each cell has a UN 38.3 test report and a safety data sheet, plus independent air and sea identification reports issued by DGM China. If you need copies for a freight forwarder or an airline, email us and we will send them.

Flying with one: airlines generally require devices containing lithium cells to travel in carry-on baggage rather than checked baggage. Check with your airline, and carry the device switched off.
