Ermona

Toronto, Canada

Espresso that travels.

Ermona makes compact coffee equipment for people who would rather not settle for whatever the hotel lobby is pouring. Two products, one idea: fresh grounds and real pressure, wherever you put the cup down.

The Espresso Set The Hand Grinder
The Ermona portable espresso set on a folding table outdoors, with the espresso maker, grinder and milk frother beside the box.

How the set works

Grind. Brew. Foam.

Three pieces, in the order you would actually use them. Beans go in whole, coffee comes out under pressure, milk gets folded in at the end.

  1. 01 Grind Whole beans into the burr grinder. Adjust the coarseness, press once, and it doses straight into the basket.
  2. 02 Brew Add hot water, lock the basket, hold the button. Twenty bar of pressure pulls a shot with crema on top.
  3. 03 Foam The wand whisks milk to a dense microfoam in a few seconds, which turns the shot into a flat white.

What we care about

Small things, done properly.

01

Independent of the wall

The espresso maker charges over USB-C and runs off its own cell. The hand grinder needs nothing but your arm. Neither one assumes there is a socket nearby.

02

Made to come apart

The brewing parts detach for washing. The grinder splits into burr, handle and jar. Anything that touches coffee should be something you can actually clean.

03

Documented, not assumed

Every cell we ship carries a UN 38.3 test report and an independent transport classification. The paperwork exists because someone should have checked.
