A small company that makes two things.
Ermona is a Canadian brand of portable coffee equipment. We are based in Toronto, our products are made to our specification in Zhuhai, China, and we import them ourselves.
Why these two products
Most travel coffee gear fails in one of two ways. Either it is a novelty that makes something coffee-adjacent and gets left in a drawer, or it is genuinely good and far too large to take anywhere.
We picked the two pieces that solve the problem at opposite ends. The espresso set is for when you want a real shot and you have a few minutes and a USB port. The hand grinder is for when you have neither, and it will still be working in ten years because there is nothing in it to fail.
How we work
We do not pretend to run a factory. Our manufacturer, Zhuhai Kelitong Electronic Co., Ltd, has been building this class of appliance for years, and our job is to specify what we want, check that it arrives that way, and stand behind it afterwards.
What we do insist on is documentation. Every lithium cell in an Ermona product has a UN 38.3 test report and an independent air and sea transport classification before it ships. That is not a marketing point, it is the minimum, and a surprising number of products in this category do not have it.
